40,000 Miles

Over the weekend I've reached the 40,000 mile mark on my GT-R and it's still going strong.

Skyline Movie Premiere

After long months, days, nights, hours, minutes, and seconds of hard work put in from everyone that worked on Skyline, we finally got a chance to see in all it's entirety last night at the premiere in Los Angeles at LA Live. We had a great turnout and all the noise I kept hearing from the crowd after the movie was over was how much they enjoyed watching the movie. I 'm really looking forward to seeing Skyline again this weekend with a public audience and hear their reaction. So if you don't have any plans this weekend, be sure to see Skyline. If you do have plans, break'em or squeeze in the time to watch it.

PingChat VS KIK

I have an iPhone4 and I use ping to connect with my blackberry, Android, and iphone friends. What's good about it is that it's a work around for people who don't have unlimited SMS or MMS plans. PingChat goes off your data plan so you don't get dinged as much if you were to text all the time using SMS.

Kik is the same thing BUT you can't send pics. It does one thing that PingChat doesn't do and that is to check if the receiver read your message or not.

So in the end PingChat is .99 and Kik is free. I'm going to go ahead and stick to using PingChat.

Nokia VS. Apple Patent Woes

"The Wall Street Journal is reporting that International Trade Commission (ITC) staffers, in a pre-hearing statement, noted that evidence in a pending patent-case Apple launched against Nokia will “not establish a violation.” Nokia and Apple have been exchanging legal blows since October of 2009; both companies have filed multiple complaints with the ITC in an attempt to get the competition’s importing rights banned.

“The ITC staff said on Monday that some of the Apple patents were invalid and others weren’t infringed,” writes the WSJ. “The statement said that if a judge determines Nokia violated patents, he should ban some Nokia phones from being imported into the U.S.”

The judge is expected to render a final decision in February."
