AMS GT-R ALPHA 12 Package

Holy shit balls, the crew at AMS are at it again, but this time with their Alpha 12 package for the Nissan GT-R

"Over the past few weeks we have been doing some ALPHA 12 testing on Tim Sanders GT-R at his request. The man REALLY likes power lol.

The major changes from the 10 to the 12 are the engine and the turbo kit itself. Tim's car is now fitted with an AMS ALPHA 4.0 big bore engine and ALPHA 12 Turbo kit. The combination has proved to be pretty potent only spooling 150 rpm later than the ALPHA 10 package. The power....well it's surprising even us. This is just preliminary testing on MS109E unleaded race gas. We also kept the RPM's a little lower than we normally do to see how the kit is responding.

The result was an astonishing 1118WHP and 884 ft/lbs of Torque!

The scary thing is this kit is far from being maxed out. We have some more tuning and some more tricks up our sleeve but I think this is quite possibly the baddest power package for the GT-R YET!" -Eric Gaudi

Old Hip-Hop Posters

Today I was doing some more house cleaning and I came across these posters. I'm surprised that I've held on to these for this long. I remember back in the day I would walk around Melrose and collect a lot of these posters that I saw hanging on light post, walls, etc. Brings back a lot of fun memories of amazing hip hop shows and friends.

Last week Friday I went to SoundLessons hosted by J-Logic and they had a very special guest come by and bless the tables. There were a few other surprises, but was just hanging out with Gladys, Emily, Damon(Smooth), and my man Donald(bay area). As usual we all had great time dancing and laughing. After the event you were treated with Pigeon John's outburst while eating bacon wrapped hotdogs.

Anyways, here's a video from Friday night.

Tron Pop-Up Shop 11.30.10

There's a special limited pop-up shop that opened in Culver City for the movie Tron. The event was nice and a few celebs showed up. I didn't get to take that many pictures, but I'll be heading back to pick up a few items that I saw. During the event they had an open bar, playable Tron games for the Wii and PS3, and a private room to listen to the Tron Motion Picture soundtrack scored by Daft Punk.
