Snow In May (California)
Folks all over Mammoth are calling this month May-bruary because of the consistent winter-like snow even though we’re allegedly deep into spring. Whether you want to call it a hybrid month or not, it’s tough not to love the looks of this weekend. Last night 5″ fell on the mountain and today, although it’s in the 20s, it’s bluebird. But it’s supposed to warm significantly and highs on the hill should hit the 50s.

Wild Life Ranch
While in San Antonio, we stopped by the Wild Life Ranch of Texas and feed goats, buffalos, zebras, ostriches, and llamas. We had a close call with a buffalo, that was pretty funny. It started to rub against the front of the car and ramming the side mirror. I wish I had my camera that day...
Here's some video footage of me feeding an ostrich.

Follow Your Dreams
Taken from my friend Raw who wrote this:
"I thought this was really worth sharing with friends. Making a long story short I just had a conversation with this guy that was a top/partner level lawyer in one of the biggest firms on the west coast that left his job and became a Realtor. Asked what made him make such a drastic change and he said, about a year back he went on a vacation to S. Cali and during this time crossing the street he gets hit by a driver under the influence of drugs that after basically running over him the driver gets super upset, stops, gets out of the car, walks up to him and kicks his ass while he is lying there in the middle of the street. At that moment he decides that if he ever survives he will follow his dream and become a Realtor.
Now, What does it take for you to follow your dreams?"

New Aeromotion's R2 Wing v2
We'll be launching the new R2 in 3 weeks. Word is getting out, so we're going to spill it all here.
The heart of our wing is the high downforce, low drag blade. With GT-R's knocking at the door of 1000hp (Chuck), and getting into the standing mile runs, we've had to beef up the carbon. The new R2 is speed rated to 250mph, and made in the USA. Have fun! The Static R2 is still just $1,699, and worth a second off your lap time.
Now, for the really exciting news. The new R2 mounts in the stock GT-R wing location. Pull off the stock wing, throw on the R2, you're ready to race. The plates (feet) that cover the holes also serve to reinforce the deck lid to handle the high downforce of our wings. Here's the best part. You have to drill one extra hole per side to mount the wing. However, that hole is hidden by the OE wing if you go back to stock . . . like it was never there.
For the R2.TWO Dynamic Wing. We're integrating the computer and controller into one simple to install package. Three wires and you're done. No more feedback cables, etc. It's also made to be erased. It will rivet to the top of the deck lid (you take off that black trim piece). If you drill out the rivets, and replace the trim, you're back to stock.
There's a slight style update as well. The end plates are now murdered out, black anodized aluminum with laser etched logo's.
Below are some pics of load testing the new blades. The first pic is the wing AFTER we took all the weights off it. Good as new! That's 860lbs of load on the wing (~210mph). For the hanging pic, we used the R2 upright attachment points to hoist 550lbs. (Yes, the gantry is aeromotions orange) .

Busy...
I have been extremely busy lately and not that i have nothing to say or write about, I just don't have the time to really sit down to collect my thoughts and type away. The past month I've working 75-85 hours a week, dealing with my car, and life. I'm taking a short break this week to hang out with my brother and his friend's in San Antonio, Texas. Yes Texas, I never thought I would ever say the words, "I'm going to Texas" hahahaha. Of course the weather will be shitty the day I get there and sunny when I leave... go figure. Well it's time for me to get back to work and live life to the fullest.
Peace.
